Last year he shot a buck on the same trail, same stand, hit was high, never found it. Well when gutting him sure enough he found a 6" piece of arrow still in him! Crazy story. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk Wow thats so cool! Pictures! Talk about a redemption shot. I was just watching a hunting beast video and they were talking about bucks showing up at certain times and locations multiple years in a row. Long game scouting I suppose. chrisw
I'm not going to post his pictures of the deer, it's not my place to post his face or deer but it's a beautiful 8 point. Here's the scar and piece of carbon!Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

And it works. I have stacks of cam videos and photos showing this. And a few dead deer I should add. I had a 10-pointer I was watching for 3 years...wouldn't show up until late October every year. Not sure if he's still around this year... Marion
Well the smell and noise isn’t bothering the turkeys , got a bunch at 40 yards hanging out making turkey noises. Edit they just shut the pump down , all quite now . That's because turkeys can't smell#ThankYouForLessOverzealousModding #WeDemandUnlimitedLikes#WeDemandADislikeButton

I am still torn between sitting at a field edge low where i usually see does come out before dark low on the hill adjacent to a swamp or sit at the top of the field in the oaks.... Maybe what i will do is check the oaks first for sign and make my decision then.

Hunt on the crosswind. Edited October 9, 2020 by phade

crappyice
First sit for me in the 3S deer management program Sitting in a new area in an oak next to heavy grasses on route to water. Hoping To play Dr Kevorkian to an EHD Doe(too soon?). Only buck I’ll shoot is a nice one I heard was in the area and had NO BIZ-ness being here!HOT with a subtle but perfect west wind. This is my first climb of the year..here’s what I did wrong. Forgot to tie bottom to top, almost forgot to attach safety harness, dropped my lightweight gloves from my harness and as I type I realize my release is on my bow!!! Always an adventure on the first climb of the season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 4
Otto
In again, same place as yesterday but feels like a little whole different place. Very light wind, quiet. Someone is burning leaves i can smell it. Hope the deer don't mind.....remembered everything today except my field kit with gloves and bags for the heart etc. I do have a knife, so I'm not worried!Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
