Nothing better than quietly walking thru the woods with a flash light to get to my stand and inadvertently walk under a pine tree loaded with roosted turkeys who bust out like herd of buffalo. Scared the you know what out of me.

32 and frosty here. Pheasant hunters and duck hunters have let off 599 plus rounds already in the distance. Thank heavens I remembered and did not hit my corn set on the island. Had 3 way behind me catch my wind I think. Got blown at and saw flashes of them running towards the house.

My bro on other prop saw a 4 and a decent 8 together no shot

Got about 15 more minutes before I have to head out. Kids last soccer game of the season starts at 10.. so far I've seen 84 squirrels, 923 geese, and a red fox. One of the squirrels saw the fox and has been telling at him for the last 10 minutes...

Well should’ve just killed a monster doe but a coyote spooked the group of two maybe seconds before I could shoot then missed under the coyote thought he was at 37 ended up being 42 yards was shaping up to be a good morning...

I've been smiling all morning as I'm finally back in a tree stand. Good luck to all out this morning.

37° out. Haven’t seen or heard a single deer. Nothing on the trail camera for the past several days either. I wonder what’s going on?? In past years I would see several doe at least every single day.

Fresh scrapes all around. Freezing my behind off but loving every minute of it. 
is everyone else noticing a high number of Coyotes around?  They are everywhere just East of Syracuse.

There must be 2000 dead farm raised pheasants by now. And prolly a duck or two. And ammo supply must be dwindling! Been a lotta shooting lol

Fourth year at this property I can confidently say now since last year the deer are down. Last year and this I simply am not seeing as many at all. Xbow May bring a respite as my range will increase at least.

Deer #6 is a doe
