Hard to tell at the shot. So much going on and being focused. Give it some time then search. Go slow.

I fricken rattled and was putting them away he was looking right up at me at 40, made a scrape and came to 25, shot for 20 since I stopped him.

I’ve had a big 7 pointer and 10 pointer on my cameras every single night for the past week, never seen them during the day though

An ok start to the day. A nice buck at sunrise that made an eighty yard loop around me then about fifteen minutes ago a doe ran behind me.

I’m debating on what to do for the afternoon. I can do an all day sit here inside the woods or I can go in for lunch and hunt a field edge for the afternoon.

Tomorrow’s weather looks like a wash out so I’m leaning towards an all day sit.

Thoughts?

Oh for sure. Earliest I’d get out of the woods is 11am. My debate is for after that. Just stay in this stand or hunt a different stand.

No one knows your stands better than you, go with your gut. But stay in as long as you can, it can change in a second. From the time I saw my buck till I shot was literally 15 seconds!
