My two boys are out hunting deer. 40 and damp. I’m on yote patrol. Same stand I shot yote yesterday. Hopefully the action picks up for them. Weather change may help. Who knows? Good luck all who are out.

Crappy, clearly you have not checked the forecast The temperature is falling,  barometric pressure is rising,  the moon is waxing, and Saturn is in retrograde. Plus the rut is in full effect!!!! Its almost unfair for the deer!!!

You might regret passing on all that fine meat.

I saw a bunch of bucks this am and the one doe I saw by them must be hot.

Switching gears to habitat improvements!

Make the move. Stay downwind and chase them. Still hunt while grunting and bleating from downwind.  Take it to the streets.

Diddly squat here.  Didn't spook anyone on the way in. They're probably hanging out near my other stand I was thinking about sitting in.

Sitting on ground today underneath a blow down in a field facing where I am certain they are bedding down. There’s about 100 yards wide of golden rods with thicket behind it and field behind me. I’m about 30 yards off the edge of the golden rods. Zero movement so far.

Should have hunted at the end of my driveway. Couple of bucks must have been scuffling. About 30' is tore up with tracks and scuff marks.  Not the best pic, but the entire end of my driveway looked like this.
