Tornado warning in Onondaga and Cortland co now too.  Prob close to you now Fletch.  Deer might be like reindeer and flying.....

Never even set the alarm for this morning. There was no way hunting was going to happen. Tomorrow morning isn’t looking to bad now. Only a 20% chance of rain. I hope it stays that way.

Small buck just ran in from the upwind side and angled past. Nit sure if neighbors spooked him or just the bugs? The duck hunters are in force!!
Maybe all the shooting riled him up?

Solid guess @squirrelwhisperer. I saw one fat squirrel this a.m.,no deer. I may try to go out before the storms get here,supposedly late afternoon accompanied by a severe temp drop.

Took today off from the woods to paint the kitchen.nice rainy day project that'll come into play with the fiance during the rut!really hoping to sneak out tomorrow morning though.

We’re in Ohio as of five min ago. Going to set a few stands in the rainfest. Last two hours are due to be no rain but still a touch windy. Cold front dropped temp 10 degrees on truck in last five miles.

Hoping we mail back side of front here and then tomorrow back in NY.
