Knock them down today.  I'll be heading out to setup a trail camera where I plan to hunt opening day.  There is usually a yearly scrape there I'll put the camera over.  Bring the bow just in case a fat doe steps out.

Buttons kept me company for a bit. Have a deer blowing upwind out of sight. Not sure what it's deal is.

32 here , finishing coffee in the truck I’ll head in soon . In the past the bucks have chased does around the little bean field , as well as I’ve taken two tens right there in archery , which means I won’t see anything .

Large deer in cut beans ,200 yards out as I got near this stand . I go in as it starts to get lighter and glass as I go .

Made it up without him bring aware , he wandered off, hope he circles back ….

Several squirrels, but not a deer to be seen. Really expected them to be moving last night and this morning as cold as it was. Just 3 does on cam all night, no bucks.

Well I have 15 min left on my pre work hunt… going to set up a new bow Hunter for a rest of the day sit on my way out…

Putting him in a stand I am seeming tons of young bucks out of.

Hit the pig then small tickling of rattle bag. Scrub buck came in followed by another big body but can’t see crap through all these leaves still up.

Deer are there somewhere. Just not where we are used to seeing them so far this year.

Well some excitement.   Doe blowing like crazy upwind of me and running around.  Only caught flashes of tail in brush.  Guessing a buck was annoying her.  Here here mr buck.
