Jenn, and I walked 1.71 miles according to my ONX app. No sheds found, walked slow scanning as far as we could see, nothing... however! We founds tons of good rubs, and I marked them all on my app...so now I can do a bit more studying at least. I did find some buck beds full of hair too.

We made it!!! Every March, we have a traditional huge dump of heavy, sloppy-gloppy, snow during March. I remember one of those March storms that forced me to get a payloader in to break a trail up to the house. Three feet of snow with the consistency of ice cream. Well, this year we did it. We survived a March without that kind of storm. Of course I wouldn't want to make any predictions for April.....lol.

I was looking out my bedroom window yesterday when I noticed a doe staring into the wood line. She was doing the usual head bobbing and foot stomping , so I knew something was going to happen. I then went and grabbed my camera and when I returned , I was able to capture a little of this on film. The foxes are wiping out the squirrels at the bird feeder. Unfortunately , the squirrels cant escape fast enough when the foxes make a run at them.

Finally brought the truck home, they had to put dealer plates on it as they still didn’t have the title. Apparently according to them , the bank quoted them $ 27 short of the Lien pay off amount and that’s why the title is being held by the state. So they will be sending a person to our house to finish up the paper work. Wife and I put some miles on it today and I see my mileage not being very good for a bit. That 5.0 sound and those gears do make it fun to drive.

Gonna use this guy as a bench end. Have to add some eyeballs.., finish up the base.., and let him drink another can of varnish. Just need to carve up something for the other side now and put it all together. Quick eagle I just finished up the other day too.

Thanks guys! That's the biggest problem I'm running into with this stuff right now is just dealing locally through word of mouth, and my FB page. Eventually I'll look more into some shipping options. To my surprise I've had to turn down some out of state interest because I'm not familiar or comfortable with crating and shipping big heavy items like this. Once I start getting into a rhythm with the carving side of things, I'll start to look more into how the business end works to make it profitable while still affordable to out of towners.

Ain’t that the truth, I was in my shotgun stuff “cabinet” tonight and I have 11 turkey chokes for my 20ga 870 and another 7 for my 12ga 870’s not counting another 20 or so turkey chokes for other various shotguns! With chokes being 30-100$ a pop I have a small fortune in chokes! That’s not even talking about the 2 filing cabinet drawers I have of turkey shells that I’ve tried over the years! Bought both my kids neoprene ones. They are thin and comfortable. The most important thing to look for is ones with the strap that goes under the crotch and a grab handle up high on the back. In the event she goes over, you will be able to pick her up without the vest slipping off. I think they were 30-40$ ea from Cabela's. Consider a princess one or something along those lines. Cool, congrats on new-ish truck! I feel your pain about dealing with car dealerships. I've gotten up and walked out a few times when the "runner" was constantly giving or getting offers from the Sales Mgr out in an office away from the showroom. Really hate it when they play the #s game, trying to baffle you like some shady investor thinking you're a dumb-a$$ willing to part with your money.
