Einsamer Krieger
The VA administered the flu, pneumonia and shingles shots last summer during my annual checkup, no sore arms, all was good to go. Never had the flu, no after effects, what the hell, why not? Edited February 9, 2017 by Lone Silver Wolf

Doctor told us the flu shot this year sucked and was a waste of time. Ha Ha... Channel 4 news said that this years shot was a very close match to this years strain. I dont know what to believe! My doc talked me into the shot for what it is worth....

kpkot
Im required to get it for work every year. Many people who think they got the flu get a simple virus. Flu needs a swab in nose and results processed in a lab to be diagnosed.

grampy
Working in a public school district, I can say with certainty, that schools have the largest collection of germs, than just about anywhere. Including hospitals! Lets all wash our hands now!

covert
I got it during my physical. Didn't cost me anything so what the heck. Didn't seem to bother me at all. Really though, 4 out of ~19,000,000 isn't too bad.
ATbuckhunter
Ive never gotten the flu shot, but I hear crap about it all the time from my parents. Not a fan of needles so I tend to avoid it.

josephmrtn
I've never had a flu shot, doubt I ever will. I am currently in the EMT-B class and they taught us that the flu vaccines do almost nothing and actualy make the flu worse in many cases. unfortunantly because im working in Emergency Medicine I was required to get a few other vaccines such as Hep B but I can assure you I wouldnt let them inject me with all that mercury, heavy metals and other crap unless it was absolutly required
