What's your brush gun

I stopped hunting brush, sure it’s plentiful and easy to sneak up on ( if you watch the wind ) but I’ve found it to stringy and hard to chew, if I want that I’ll just eat Mrs Nomads cooking .

Right now it's my 12g. Ithaca Deerslayer 2. But I'm currently keeping my eyes open for a short carbine.

No brush gun for me. I hunt with a .270 which likely won't hold together through any brush ....right? But that's ok. Most of my shots are fairly clear shooting lanes.

What makes a gun a "brush" gun?  Small and easily maneuverable?  I know deflection is deflection whether its a 12g or 30-30.  I guess I would say my 30-30 because it is so easy to carry and shoulder being small.

I don't shoot through brush. It's a clear shot or a pass for me.

i don't have a "brush gun". my thoughts are nothing is really going to save you.  heavy flat nosed bullet with some HP behind it would help if even if negligible.
