I'm up to 6 mounts already. I'm going to have to start turning them down soon out I'll totally blow my ENTIRE season limit of 15 by November 1st!

Actually, one of the three was an older kill that the hunter decided to mount now with a new cape. Due to taxidermist - hunter confidentiality I can't post pics of the other two which have not been posted on this thread. One of which is the buck Moog referred to

I lost my release last night so that is also a factor until I can get a few shots in with my backup (same model but just never broken in).

My wife lost all the arrows out of her quiver the other night...still have to find a couple of them!

My wife mentioned that I should just sit on the deck for the evening watch. I chuckled and headed out back to my stand. I see nothing. Not even squirrels moving in the swirling winds. Coming back into the yard I walk right  into six of them under my apple trees. Two nice big doe and four smaller ones. Too late and too dark but I coulda....

It never really works out well when I don’t listen to my wife.
