Well tonight at last light shot my target buck I have been after all season. He went down on impact, then got up and went into the woods. He was in heavy golden rod brush when I shot . Tracked him into the woods, and stopped. Have good blood, but didn't want to push him into the neighbors.Gonna be a long night. 
My father and I are heading out at daylight in the am to get him.

Good luck on the recovery I'm looking forward to pics tomorrow. No sightings on my afternoon watch back at it in the morning.

We have some coyotes but not much you can do. Have had to do this before and so far the coyotes haven't gotten my deer. More concerned about if he circles back into the thick brush where its 5 ft plus tall. Could take the better part of the day to find him when you get in that stuff. He can be dead 10 feet from you and can not see him.

No deer sightings in 2 days! Back out to Utica tomorrow for work probably done for the year! Weird weekend hardly any shots heard.

Both amazing days but thinking 11/2/19 lives in infamy. Almost all of these were bucks but one I think and it was bow season.   Both were awesome days for a lot of people.

No, I let him be. Saw a bigger 8 at the back of the field later. Long way away and past legal by the time he stepped out.

Nice that he's on the target range. He's between the 50 and the 100 yd targets. I put him at about 86 &1/2 yards

Thought you had two does in THAT position ....makes better sense for THAT car!
Great buck and I do hope you replicate it. I don’t even see squirrels when the Moon is full or even close to it!

Well I decided to move out to my field stand after that picture..

I busted two does out of the field,, 20 minutes later I had two more feeding then I was able to to take this guy ...
