It is snowing pretty good right now on the nw corner of wmu 9F.  I am on doe patro in the lower level of my two-story blind out back.  It has nice overhangs, which ought to help prevent a repeat of the scope fog-over issue, which hit me two nights ago on the opposite corner of this wmu.

Out in my box blind I shot my 8 pt on opening morning. Nobody in here since Saturday. Son is on top of mountain waiting on a shooter. I m enjoying it all.

I'm sorry I wasn't there. I haven't hunted since Thanksgiving. Dealing with some issues. My season may be over.

Still nothing seen, remind me 3 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are a 1000 snacks are not enough with a growing 13yr old, I only got some snacks, no sandwich for me.

Probably one of the worst hunting seasons I’ve ever had. Usually I see a hundred small little bucks but I have only seen a couple all season.

Another great hunt. Saw 2 bucks. Not shooters.

Then saw an 8pt on ride home near [mention=327]crappyice[/mention] farm spot!

Settled in 3S off a rock wall opening- my new target buck thanks to @Biz-R-OWorld ( or any doe) will hopefully try to slip through soon … what a great feel in the woods- quiet, cloudy, calm!

Awsome buck, congrats to you and you hunting party. You guys put your time in.

Hunting this stand for only the second time this year.  Fresh snow coming down and no wind.  Any deer will do tonight.

Just had 6 doe walk by, let them walk. 50 yards broadside. Two bucks already in freezer. Congrats on those bucks taken today. Some nice ones. Congrats on the does, nice healthy meat!
