Idk. I've always had a great immune system. My wife, on the other hand, is always sick. I think I bring crap home from riding the train everyday. I don't get it but then she gets sick.

Ha Ha... Channel 4 news said that this years shot was a very close match to this years strain.  I dont know what to believe!  My doc talked me into the shot for what it is worth....

'Close' match = no match = no efficacy for the shot. Antibodies generated are specific to the virus they attack.

no shots for me and don't get sick often at all.  i'm in my 30's though and haven't ever had anything to comprise my immune system.  daughter doesn't go to day care and too young for school.  all that helps.

Wait till she goes to school...It's game on for her getting every sickness she hasn't been exposed to yet.

I didn't realize it but wasn't up to par for about a week had a backache between my shoulder blades thought that was unusual and chalked it up,to being tired the next week I got the flu and lasted just over two weeks just getting back to normal never had the flu shot never will ,, was pretty bad on me this year every bone in my body ached.. ughhhhh...

Glad to be feeling good again....

Yeah I agree .....

It was on the news that the strain that was going around my area wasn't the strain the flu shot covered,,,,, so useless ......

I've never had a flu shot, doubt I ever will. I am currently in the EMT-B class and they taught us that the flu vaccines do almost nothing and actualy make the flu worse in many cases. unfortunantly because im working in Emergency Medicine I was required to get a few other vaccines such as Hep B but I can assure you I wouldnt let them inject me with all that mercury, heavy metals and other crap unless it was absolutly required
