typical or non-typical whitetail which one like better ?

I think non typical is more interesting to look at  certain ones anyway .

I am not all that into antlers, but I prefer a typical with some "character".   Too much symmetry looks fake, and too much non-typical looks grotesque.

I’m a non typical guy. I like seeing all the junk. I have never seen one live and probably never will so I think that’s why.

I love a nice typical. Im slightly OCD so it makes sense. That being said, i love me a nice droptine too

JMO, there's nothing more satisfying than getting a wily, old 6-8yo buck with a declining rack, maybe a good 6pt! Then you've done something, but not necessarily brag-worthy! An accomplishment none the less!

I'd wager 10% or less of this forum has ever killed a 6+ yo buck. I'd wager less than 5% of the general hunting population has ever killed a 6+ yo buck.

I have never seen a non typical on the hoof. I would love to get one someday...I like every deer I have harvested...

I like a nice neat typical with maybe a drop tine and even some kickers. That said, it would be cool just to see and or take a non-typical.

That's a good question.... I know injured Deer will grow weird racks or half a rack will be messed up...

I like Symmetrical racks tho.... so Typical.... Nothing like a nice perfect 8 point.

Interesting  maybe fighting with other bucks could cause a injury that later on goes crazy on a rack maybe from a infection ?

Nah.... I mean any damage while in Felt... will affect the antlers for that year....  I shot what I thought was a nice 8 point one year.... The one side of the rack was messed up tho.... Why?  Because the Buck only had 3 legs!  lol
