Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk That's a spot on my sisters property that my friend has his tree stand. I just happened to put my cell cam there few weeks ago to see what is wandering around. I don't turkey hunt so the only thing the turkeys have to be watching out for are the coyotes or fox.
turkeyfeathers
Brisk out. No gobbles yet. Good luck everyone who’s out. I had a friend sign over a tag so now I’ve got 3 to punch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3

Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk Many forum members say you can kill coyotes year round if it's your own property. That being said, i will continue to hunt turkeys and maybe even a take nice velvet buck mid august.
Robhuntandfish
I saw the turkey I named Elliott Ness. He lives in this little strip of a field and tiny treeline and has been there the last two years. Huge Tom. And couldn't hunt there if you wanted to . Untouchable. And he was all fanned out as proud as can be this morn.

G-Man
Saw a flock Last evening head to roost in neighbors woods. So forgo the deer hunt in am.and head back to same spot for turkey this am. Hear a shot behind me 100 yards. Neighbor got his iff roost I'm sure, at 830 I could hear scratching behind me , and I see the birds headed toward me a but gonna pass by at 50 plus yards. I pick a spot where they will give me a clear shot as the cross a logging road. At 915 I'm done a nice young jake , birds break and my brother and friend converge to scatter spot and an hour or so later they both connect on a Jenny. Not a bad 1st day

biggamefish
The birds were hot this weekend. Had multiple birds around me both days. Sunday morning had 4 come in the biggest one got an education when I shot an arrow over his back at 25 yard! This guy wasn't so luck though. He came in to investigate my decoys and my shot was true. 4 inch beard and 16 pounds.

Gobbler Chaser
Yep, I'm packing it in. Toughest season I can remember and I've been at this for 30 yrs. I actually bought the property I live on 14 yrs ago because of the abundance of turkeys in this area. Still had alot of fun being out there. I'm glad we still have our deer, their numbers go up and down but not nearly as volatile as the turkey population here in the last 7 or so yrs.
