Hence the "beholder" description. Some don't get it but that's fine, they are trophy hunters and in it for the antlers. How anyone can shoot a deer and not be thrilled with the meat is beyond me.........

crappyice
I’m in.... convinced the mrs that I needed to do important research on pre- vs post- storm deer movement. I’m up a tree ( rules of the program) with tracks all around.28 degrees, nice light breezy in my face hoping that The_Real_TCIII (gulp!) is right!!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Say it with me The_Real_TCIII knows about deer movement AFTER the snow.I let one fly at a doe at 35 yards earlier. Hit her back-she was walking slowly and I decided to not try and stop her as they have been quite jittery as of late. Hindsight that seems like a mistake. After finding my arrow (below) that passed through but fell out 25 yards after hit and talking to the guy who manages the program we decide I should follow the tracks and see what happens. 200 yards later I jump her from a bed. She looks unfortunately strong. I will head back around 9:00 tonight to see what I got.Good spray convinced me to keep pushing track Bed she jumped from 200 yards after hit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
