Posted up in stateland not 1 vehicle on the road way.  Didn't bump anything coming in. Have blue Jay's yelling from the direction I expect the deer so time to sit back relax and enjoy the day

Been in stand a few minutes and 2 doe and a spike, and the guys just started blasting ducks on the pond behind us.

Rattle and call or relocate. It was so loud I bailed on my original spot in the hardwoods now I'm set up 30yds off the road, in a spot I always said I would try. Great funnel on one end of my lease.... just don't love the road.

I'm as far from civilization as I can get down here.  600 feet down.  Been 9 months since ACL surgery and man my legs were shaking walking down that hill.  No pain, just muscle fatigue.  Gonna be sweaty climbing out at noon.  Leaves are super loud this morning.  Got a fresh scrape above and below me.

Several pics of small bucks chasing does last night. Saw them run by me at first light too. Still NO big bucks hitting scrapes or showing themselves during the day yet!!

Well not the start I wanted.  Just had 1 lone gun shot go off within 200yards of me and theres no fields or ponds close enough for duck or goose hunters.   Couldn't tell if it came off stateland or the private.  I wonder what they could of been shooting at?

My brother in law just dropped a good buck. So pumped for him. We are hunting only 125 yards apart, i heard the crash and saw the luminok glowing. Hanging out for another 45 mins atleadt, there was another buck cruising through a moment ago.

Passed on a nice 1.5 six last night with great potential if he makes it.

Hoping for a little revenge this am. Driving thru the village of Honeoye last night at about 5:30 a doe came flying out of the ditch and bit my bumper. She flopped around for a couple of minutes, then jumped to her feet and trotted off thru someone’s side yard.  Took out one headlight but that’s all. Third deer hit in 45 years of driving. 
Quiet this morning in my patch of 8H.

Just had what would have been the BIGGEST buck of my life come to within 23 yards. Beautiful 10 pt tall wide and thick. I saw him at 50 and grunted him closer. He wouldn’t come out of the thick. 3 more steps!!! He just turned and walked slowly away. Unreal.

I  shot a big coyote about 10 min ago. He came sneaking out of the bedding area. This is my guest time ever seeing a coyote here.
