I turned the alarm off and still woke up at 4 , plenty off ti.e to eat breakfast and get the system primed before heading out . Hopefully everyone has an enjoyable and safe day in the woods.

I tracked easy 150-200 yards and no he never stopped

At the the cabin, outhouse isn't too bad, 47 and light northwest wind.  I don't love the wind direction for my central stand, but that tends to get the most traffic under pressure.

NW wind is good for my location this morning. Some activity on the cams last night. Had a larger bodied buck nose to the ground trialing a doe by only a few minutes. Keep alert this morning.

Well stateland in 3m looks like a laser show, great. Last year the road I hunt had two other cars, this year 12! And I'm sure more to come. Ughhhh

Good luck this morning everyone! I’m staying back with our 3 yr old granddaughter so wife and daughter can get out this morning. Wife is staying back later so daughter and I will be out for the afternoon shift. Whipping up a big breakfast shortly.

Got the great news last night that we’ll have an extra for deer season next year - daughter is pregnant! This will be their second child, and our 5th grandchild. Over the moon! 2020 has a silver lining for us after all. Now we need to cap it off with bucks!

Up nobody on road when we got here 1.5miles back didn't jump anything.  From where my brothers at it's a 3/4 mile from the road way and you can here trucks come in. Nothing so good so far.  Good luck to everyone.

First time hunting opener on public land for me. Wow. Just a wee bit crowded. First shot at 615. Finally found an access point without any cars parked at it. Post over what I hope are some escape routes.

I’m up. Walked past 3 sets of eyes at 20-25 yards. Green lens on headlamp lights em up good and second time I’ve done this and they sat tight.  Good luck and be safe everyone

Just got to the stand. A little breezier than expected. A few big trees were blown down since last week. Storm must have come through. 

Any guesses on when you hear the first shots in your area? Sunrise here is 714. I'm guessing shots will be heard by 645.
