Last meal....

ok off season topic and im sick of politics. 

If you had one meal left, anything you want, what is it? 

Im going cast iron wild Brook Trout cooked with bacon, utica greens, home fries and smoked sausage with eggs over. Large cup of  irish coffee to wash it down.

Lobster with lots of butter and a side order of lobster mac. Chased down with a cold bud light

I am hoping for some brook trout over Easter.  The weather was too brutal to try for them thru the ice a couple weeks ago.

My choice for a last meal would be moose tongue, but a close second would be whitetail button buck liver, fried medium rare in olive oil, in an iron pan.  I had that 3 times in the last year, but it has been over 20 years, since I had moose tongue.

If it was lunchtime, it’d be egg salad and green olives.  

Dinner?  Maybe a full rack of ribs…

My 12 year old asked me this last week. He likes reading and watching shows on serial killers. 

I'm going with a 2-3# steak a couple lobsters and 1# of grab legs. Washed down with a Dr pepper or mellow yellow.

A huge moose steak, two potatoes, and a couple ears of corn on the cob all cooked over a camp fire. Since I'm guessing I'm going to die anyway a 12 pack of Newcastle.

A nice slice of prime rib or a quality steak. Fresh sweetcorn on the cob. garlic smashed potatoes, a small salad starter, with some chicken wings/fries as an appetizer. 

Ice cold beer.

I'm not a huge dessert person but eff it, it's the last meal. Caramel Brownie with a scoop of ice cream, or a slice of german chocolate cake or carrot cake, or homemade apple pie or chocolate chip cookies. Any of them will do.

Classic New England boiled ham dinner with lots of Cabot butter and cider vinegar.  Raw milk and local cider to drink.  Homemade mixed berry pie with vanilla ice cream for desert.

A5 wagyu, roasted fingerling potatoes, Asparagus with an ice cold fountain coke.

Cheesecake with cherries on top.

Give me a homemade sauce (not gravy) with meatballs, sausage and pork, cheese raviolis and some garlic bread.   A little tiramisu to finish.   I am Italian through and through I guess.

The real answer is to go to Cheesecake factory - they take forever, so for a last meal, you'll get to stay alive longer, theoretically.
