When does your vacation start?

Hi fellow archer men and women.  When does your vacations start or when do you plan on putting some substantial time on stand in order to harvest that trophy?  My Brother and I will be down from the 1st-15th.  We will take our children out on Halloween and plan to depart early the next morning but not before stealing a healthy portion of their candy.  You see, there will be some all day sits and we will need some good protein like snickers, milky ways, and peanut butter cups to sustain us while out in the trees.  Well good luck all and COME ON RUT, hit on or around the 4th or 5th!!!

All four and five day weekends through November. Nine days for opening week of firearms. More hunting days than work days, for the best month of the year for hunting!

Every morning when my feet come out of the bed and touch the floor. I'm retired and live in the woods. So anytime I can avoid necessary appointments with doctors and other pain-in-the-butt people, my time is my own.

Mine starts 11-20 and goes to 12-2,The 2nd is my birthday and I am always in the woods.One of my favorite days hunting!!

Ill have a 3 day weekend this weekend, Halloween weekend and the first weekend in November. After that, I took Thanksgiving week off.

Antlers are cut and breeding pens are full. Hunting Vacation started last weekend and good to go until late December.Southern zone almost made it to Xmas.

I never take vacation during the season. Just weekends/holidays/ the occasional sick day

Next Thurs, Oct 29th is starting to look like a good day to take off. Cooler temps.  I'll pick and choose a few days between then and mid November to take off.

Well between Oct. 19th and Dec. 3 I'll be at work 6 days. One reason I went back to bed today I can be choosy in when I go.

I got a year and a half till retirement , then I can really get out there !

I have split vacation.  Nov 2nd & 3rd then again Nov 9,10,11 . Hoping the rut is going strong for opening weekend of X bow.

Ive always taken the first week in nov but this yr I took the 2nd week off. Past couple yrs it seems like it was getting good when my vacation was over. Hopefully my timings good.

My vacation started in 1998 when I retired after working 35 years at Xerox .

Took off 11/19 to 12/2. A day of driving on either end, but for the rest I will finally be back up in the woods hunting instead of the swamp down here.
