Came close tonight on public. Big doe at 30. First time hunting with the climber and learned a few nuances. Being mobile is gonna be killer this year

Some Yogi pics, there were 4 if them in the next hickory over.  One was a good 20 feet up.  Sound of 4 crunching hickory nuts was impressive.  First is right before she tried to climb my tree!

Thanks everyone! It's honestly really bittersweet. I'm thankful to have him but I'm really dreading hunting the rut now! Guess I'll take pictures from here on out! I just couldn't pass up a 12yd shot on the opener!

I sat for 12 hrs today. I didn't see anything until just before 5pm when 3 doe came in and ate around under my stand for 5 minutes. I shot her at 9yrds. She piled up 50yrds behind my stand.

Had an afternoon sit. No deer seen plenty of tree rats and chipmunks. Tons of acorns on ground behind my house. Will sit again in a few days . Congrats to those that connected. Just great to be out.
