Well quick midday hunt.  Just still hunted that piece I went to.  2 rubs is all both older not a ton of tracks or sign.  So i pulled out and took a stand down so it didn't grow feet during gun season and disappear.  I'm having a hard time just finding a doe this year.  Be out again tomorrow morning and maybe sunday morning.  I've only been able to sit 2-3 afternoons and that's when I tend to kill does

Thanks, Lomax.  My buddy will reach out.  I believe it was one of the large 10pts that roam our woods, so it would be nice to have some closure.

Haven’t been posting much. Been trying to stay focused on my target buck.I snuck out of work early tonight for a sit in my ground blind as the rain is about to stop. On my way in, I saw a fresh rub that wasn’t there yesterday. Hopefully he shows before dark tonight.

Friend picked me up and e are over at Alabama Swamps. He is in climber and I'm sitting with crossbow up against large tree. It's my first time here.

Got a doe around lunchtime today. It was a quick humane kill. The only drawback was that i used my least favourite weapon,my truck. I was going 55 and never even saw the doe,she must have been running but still managed to catch the front of my truck.
