My daughter’s first bow deer!

Daughter Stephanie and her family moved to NJ this year for work. She comes to hunt with us every year for the first week of rifle season. She’s never taken one with a bow, and never taken a doe. Where she is, you have to take a doe before you can take a buck. So she can check that box now! Her first deer without me there. I don’t know the story as she sent the photo after I went to bed. It’s killing me waiting to hear the details!

Talked to her on the phone on the way to work. 20 yard shot with six other deer around, sounded like all within 60 yards. Doe went 100 yds and piled up. First blood trail she had to follow without my eyes helping.

Now she's after a Jersey buck.

Really wish I was there, but with the slayer she's turning out to be I can't be there for all of them! I'll be hunting with her here on November 21st.

Hey n tell her congrats for using a bow. A crossbow isn’t and never will be one but the state is full of guys want things easy. I’m proud of her too btw

Yeah, she told me that on the phone. She was also out of last year's venison, lol.
