Heavy wind last night up on my nee property in 6k…blew 2 HUGE Beech over…of course…right onto the only stand we have at the back end of the property.

Up getting ready. Not supposed to be raining. Must be nice to be a weatherman. Radar looks like rain should be done between 530 and 6. Gonna be a drippy day in the woods. Wind kinda sucks too. SW. Couldn’t go yesterday. Have to go today. Can’t get one from the couch.

Happy Halloween! Up and at em for the morning sit. This will be my 8th sit this season. I'm hoping the rain holds off. The constant rain and limited sightings lately are starting to wear me down. Good luck to anyone getting out.

Been up since 4am. I'm having coffee and breakfast, then getting ready to head up to the farm. Raining still here. But will be in the ridge stand where I saw 5 bucks last weekend at first light. Rain is supposed to end by 9am.

Good luck to everyone today. Halloween has always been a special day for me, but unfortunately I’m still not up to getting out. Crossing my fingers that my health improves and hopefully get out one day this week. Hoping to see some big boys hitting the dirt today.

You don't....it will shoot fine wet. Just dry it real well when you get home or rust will magically appear.

Rain stopped here but everything is soggy. Every time the wind gusts there is a little rain storm under the tree.

Between the constant dripping and everything being soggy, I will be lucky to know a deer is near me before they are right under me.

Cell cams were dead last night! 10 cell cams, but not 1 pic of a deer!! Plenty of coyotes though to confirm the cams are working properly. Was hard to get out of bed this morning, but gotta keep the faith…

I just slogged through thigh deep water with my climber to get into where I think a buck is bedding. Im drenched in sweat, too low, and exposed. And my boots are full of water. This has all the makings

Daughter and I are in. 10% chance of rain and it’s raining of course. No rain shown on the radar other wise I would have went into a blind to stay dry. The umbrella is up but it’s not big enough for both of us so I’m half under it so she can be completely under it. This maybe a short sit to what has been a very disappointing season weather wise so far.

Happy Halloween from 7f this morning bumped one on way in and saw large single deer walking edge in greylight but disappeared into thicket   Good hunting to all today
