Yeah, I woke up early and peeked outside...my trees were swaying like crazy, and the rain was pelting the back of the house.  No thanks for this morning.  If the wind dies off some, perhaps I'll go out mid day.

Getting ready to head out soon.sitting in a patch of pines and got my dad going out with me this morning.first time in prob 15 years hes getting back into it.got him on the ground in a spot i know they come in to bed down.hoping he can get a shot off.snow here in 8g

Sitting in my truck long possible right now. 20-25 mph winds and wet snow in 8H. Don't anticipate sitting long just trying to intercept a buck on his way back bedding

Well out again with my bil, hoping he sees simething. Hes getting pretty discouraged. I took a nice spill on the way in, took a cut sapling to the back of my ribs. Kinda sore right now, hope a doe walks by early. Good luck everyone, safe walking in its slippery!

30 to 40 mph winds and pretty sure I can’t cross the creek. I think I’ll pass on that , second day or not. Just doesn’t sound all that fun. Back to bed.

Son woke up at 3 gave him a bottle and we both just woke up to the wind blowing.  So not upset i over slept be back out on thursday.  Look out for those widow makers in the wind.

In the stand ready to go in 8g. Touch of snow on the ground and 32 degrees. Umbrella is up and we don’t seem to have the wind as bad any more. Hoping for a good day

Crazy windy and 51 degrees here in 4K. Probably should have stayed in bed. Feeling pretty discouraged.  Keep telling myself it can all change in a few seconds.  Good luck everyone that is braving the wind today

Wind just wind just started. And rain came back. Was nice and calm with on and off light drizzle. I can’t stay long anyways. My FIL is supposed to be coming up to help me install 2 new windows on my house. Not sure that’s gonna happen if this rain keeps up

I just got a text from a buddy. He just shot a doe and a coyote; the coyote was chasing the deer!  Both dead now.

High winds, rain and the farm is already all flooded and muddy ,  oh and I sat all day and saw ZERO deer no,thanks I'm on the couch .

Supposed to do an afternoon sit with my daughter who worked a 12 hour night shift , we'll see . 

The farmer , all my hunting buddies, guys at work all shot bucks yesterday .

I have all or parts of  the next 7 days to hunt .

Out in the wind and rain in Putnam County. I promised my wife's friends husband I would go today otherwise I would have skipped it.  No other cars parked in this public land area.  Can't wait to go back upstate for the middle of the week.  First time out w shotgun. Front bead sight only so I'm going to treat it like a bow/xbow and only take  a very close shot.

Nothing so far for me. A few other guys hunting here have been shooting, I’ll wander up and see if they connected in a bit. Gonna hang here for another hour or so. Should have worn my thick socks. My feet are freezing.

Wow...sky got black...poored for 10 minutes. Wind changed 180 degrees and it feels like the temp dropped at least 10 degrees

Waited until daylight and still hunted my way in. Wind is blowing like crazy. I hung my stand 8" off the ground instead of trying to tree surf.
