Around 4pm I heard a shot from the direction my buddy Gary was hunting, and within a few minutes my cell phone was going off. I knew he must have shot a buck because he never calls that quickly after shooting a deer. He started to to tell me he had shot a big 10 or an 8 point, but he wasn't sure since he hadn't got to it, I told him I would be down to give him a had shortly. So I jumped on my quad and road down to where my other buddy was hunting out of a shooting house and we set off to find Gary. It didn't take long until we spotted his orange vest through the timber, and there lay this beast.
