Help me settle a disagreement.

Red hot or Tabasco? 

The only correct answer is Tabasco.

Frank's for buff wings and where ketchup would be used.
Tabasco for bloody Mary's, chili and tacos

Cholula, is by far the best flavor hot sauce imo. But if I have to between franks and tobacco I choose franks.

Anything but the regular tabasco. However, the jalapeño green version of tabasco is very good.

Franks over regular tabasco for sure esp for wings.  But the green tabasco is better than both.

Franks over Tabasco 100%, but have to say neither take the top spot for general purpose. I always liked Texas Pete for all around use.

Franks is good on wings and I agree a few dashes in ketchup is really, really good.

Texas Pete with 3/4 tsp of ground Thai chili pepper added to the bottle and shook up.

But, to answer the question, Tabasco.

What are we putting it on?   Makes all the difference in world.  I use Tabasco a lot for mixing into marinades, etc.  Franks mostly for wings.

Franks. But Texas Pete's is my go to for a commercial sauce. That being said the homemade sauce from Walt's Diner in Old Forge is the real deal. I usually buy 2 quarts when I pass through.

Cholula is a favorite here. I have a least 5 bottles of hot sauce going right now. A couple small batch ones that are suburb. Marie Sharps is another good one we like.

 

I do avoid ones named colon lava, ass burns etc... I like hot flavor not hot to be hot.
