Anyone Still Cutting Grass?

Cut my grass again tonight.  Pretty sure this is the latest I've had to cut it. And showing no sign of slowing down yet. Usually all done by mid to late September. But still have dandelions coming up! Will need to mow at least another week ot two! Never dreamed of cutting grass almost into November! Anyone else still mowing?

Yes. Still cutting. 70+ degrees everyday, it’s still growing good. Leaves in trees are still green.

yes and neighbor decided to mow his and trails right at prime time the other night...which did send deer to me..unfortunately directly behind me . Wind was in my face..then Mr B calls me. Not once 4 x' s..the deer were directly under me and heard the third buzzing...off they went. We had a ...discussion when I got home

One more time for me...Probably this weekend then the mower gets put away. I don't care if grows up to the windows.

Last time was a few weeks ago, mainly just to get the leaves up. Doesn't really need to be mowed, but one more time to get the leaves up and I'm done.

Somebody that lives in my house will be cutting it this weekend........who, I don't know yet. 

Last night I talked to my buddy in Arcade, he said he hasn't mowed his lawn in the month of October in 31 years until just the other day.

I haven’t had one leaf fall yet. Even when grass does stops growing I’ll need to mow up all the leaves

Well, looks like I'm not alone!  Leaves are dropping pretty good now but still plenty to go. This may be the year, where I use the mower and the snowblower in the same week!

Yep have 17 to do tomorrow, starting to slow though.

Mowing now is mostly just to blow the leaves off the lawn so that they don't get so thick that I can't handle them. But yes the grass is still growing. End of the month, things will be put away for the winter.

Mowed mine on Tuesday, still mowing mine pretty much every 7 to 10 days.

Still mowing and the leaves are only 20% turned here, most still green.

Still mowing. Garden is still producing too. Picked six tomatoes and a bunch of peppers a couple days ago.

When I had my landscape business, this time of year most people were pushed back to every 2 weeks. Mainly for leaves. But grass will grown through november with right conditions.

Yep still mowing once a week here. But like most others said, just to keep up on the leaves mostly.

Yep, still mowin. Got several to do today. One is 7 acres of mowing alone. 

 

Leaves are changing and falling fast around here, especially the maples. We've had so much rain throughout the summer, they have a fungus that has caused them to change and drop early.   Oaks are still green though.

I winterized my mower the first week of September, if it don't cool down I'm going to have to bale my lawn.

U boys gots it easy. We are still in the 90's and I have to cut every 5-6 days!

i have on my to do list for the weekend.......start up snowblower.   Once that happens the mowing is done!

Been mowing at least once a week all summer. Just mowed part of the lawn on Tuesday and will have to finish the rest of the lawn this weekend. I'm hoping this will be it but I doubt it.
