Goodbye Lexi

It is a very sad day at home today, my beautiful pet cat and companion of 16 years had to be put to sleep this morning. She had been sick the past 2 weeks and the vet tried with medicine to make her better but it wasn't enough. I had her since she was 8 weeks old and she was a wonderful cat, but it was time to make her pain go away. Goodbye Lexi, you will be missed.

So sorry for the loss of a family member , Lexi   It's never easy.  16 years old is a long time to share so many memories.

Wife is a vet and too often see people continuing  the hope of their pet being sick and will make it through . Animals simply suffering. So I commend you in making a tough decision but yet make  the right one. If you're not familiar with the poem The Rainbow Bridge look it up
