Just saw an absolute tank of a buck crossing road quarter mile from where I’m heading in    Massive body and massive mass of bone. Got me all warm n fuzzy inside.

Gonna dress 20 minutes early cause my layers will have layers. Pack it heavy today.  Oh and warmers lots of warmers toes and hands.

Same deal here.  In 38 seasons I have yet to see a larger buck after punching my tag.  The odds are good because the rut should be in full swing today.  I am hoping to get a chance at an antlerless deer (have 5 tags available for those in 9F).    A button buck would be great.

Go get one @Robhuntandfish,and all the other warmly dressed hunters. Hopefully i will be warm dragging my doe out. I think we didn't get much more snow overnight,so maybe i can get on her track instead of grid searching right away.

Deer will be on their feet today for sure.

Out in 3g. 29 degrees and barely any wind. Dragged a scent in to see if I can be that hot doe. Frost made the leaves real crunchy. Tough to be quiet on the walk. Sitting till about 8 then off to work

Wow just let the dog out here in 9g/9h and it's cold as hell and dead nutz no wind. Gotta work today but the woods was alive all day yesterday and most likely this weekend as well.....put the seat time in boys and this forum will be as hot as it was last Sat!!

Back in my blind this morning. Same place I was Last evening. Checked my Cuddieback cameras last night. I was In the wrong stand yesterday morning. At 10:30am the big 8 was crossing a shooting lane 30 yards from this blind. Hopefully he repeats that today lol.
