  2. Have an open discussion with your body and tell him that you want to do right by your family if he is willing to wait. Have a discussion with your family members who want to buy the house and get a yes or no and if it's a yes you need a definitive timeline. Business and family don't mix and selling a house's business. That's just my two cents. Good luck!

  3. I found this bad boy on a trip to Memphis a few years ago. It was like 16 or 17 inches. Im sure it’s not the strangest thing for TSA to see as carry-on luggage. We gave it to my parents and they use it weekly for pizza.

  4. Yea, so I'm going from $15,600 taxes for a 1963 house 1900sqft to $14,300K taxes for a 2013 house and 4Ksqft. Also going from 0.46 acres to 1.71 acres that backs up 100 acres of woods/water

  8. This is rather true A Good Explanation Of Politics A Russian Jew was finally allowed to emigrate to Israel. At Moscow Airport customs found a statue of Lenin in his baggage and asked, "What is this?" The man replied, "'What is this?' Wrong question, comrade. You should have asked, ' Who is he?' This is Comrade Lenin. He laid the foundations of socialism and created the future prosperity of the Russian people. I am taking it with me as a memory of our dear hero." The Russian customs officer let him go without further inspection. At Tel Aviv Airport the Israeli customs officer also asked our friend: "What is this?" He replied, "'What is this?' Wrong question, sir. You should be asking 'Who is this?' This is Lenin, the bastard who caused me, a Jew, to leave Russia. I take this statue with me so I can curse him every day." The Israeli customs officer said, "I apologize, sir, you are cleared to go." Settling into his new house, he put the statue on a table and to celebrate his immigration he invited his friends and relatives to dinner. One of his friends asked, "Who is this?" He replied, "My dear friend, 'Who is this?' is the wrong question. You should have asked 'What is this?' This is ten kilograms of solid gold that I managed to bring with me without paying any customs duty and tax." MORAL: Politics is when you can tell the same BS in different ways to fool a different audience and allow you to look good in every situation.

  14. No,I was on another site and my dream bow came up for sale with exactly the poundage and Draw length I needed and a HHA single pin sight and hamskea drop away rest. First I wrote the guy cursing him for posting it,then a few days later I bought it. I was happy with my bow,but then last year at a 3d shoot someone had one of these hoyt ventums and I tried it. I knew I shouldn't have done that. This all felt kind of serendipitous and I consider it an early birthday present for me,it will be my big 50 this year.

  16. Starts at 0800 hrs . should be interesting, we use Rubbermaid totes to pack, throw shoes in the bottom ,then jeans ,shorts, T shirts, pullovers etc . I was packed in 15 minutes ,well I did spend some time picking out which pocketknives, flashlights and 9mm to bring . Mrs Nomad has two beds covered in clothes and has to try each piece on ……she’s been up,there a L-O -N-G time and still has to make the egg salad and pasta salad for the cooler . Back to the totes they fit nice on the back seat and leave plenty of room to layer on top of them ,and work as laundry baskets at the condos , we use a carry on for hotel stops . Now she says we should take an extra day to drive down ! Wtf my sister expects us Thursday afternoon , and our friends Sue and Bob are coming over as well, plus Bob wants to take me Bass fishing so cutting a day off that stop of 3 nights 2 days would leave just one day to try and fish , the dates were only set months ago …. we did get tickets for St. Louis Vs the Yankees in Tampa ! So the Villages then Cocoa Beach for a month ,then Lino Beach by Sarasota for two weeks , back to the Villages, then friends house near Knoxville , then my nephews Lake house near Nashville for as long as I want , he blindly said …. Stay tuned .

  27. "It's safe to say this is the worst first year of a presidency in modern history. We've seen our energy industry attacked, our medical freedom infringed upon, and our standing on the world stage diminished. Biden began his administration with an assault on the American energy industry by shutting down pipelines and banning drilling on federal lands and waters, threatening millions of jobs nationwide and hundreds of thousands in my home state of Texas. Biden created the worst border crisis in decades when he rolled back Trump's border security policies. ... Inflation surged to 6.8% in 2021, an invisible tax on Americans that's forcing people to pay more for everyday goods. Meanwhile, Biden's first year in office erased 3 years of real wage growth for American families. Instead of addressing rising crime across the country, Joe Biden's FBI decided to target parents who are rightly concerned about what their kids are learning in school. Biden is directly responsible for the disastrous withdrawal in Afghanistan that led to the deaths of 13 Americans and countless allies. Biden's feckless foreign policy has emboldened authoritarians like Putin and Xi Jinping. In an assault on basic medical freedom and personal choice, Biden imposed an unconstitutional vaccine mandate on businesses and healthcare workers, forcing people to choose between their jobs or the vaccine. Biden pushed the most damaging legislation in American history that would have killed American energy jobs, raised taxes on middle-class families, and made an already historic inflation crisis worse. ... This is what one-year of a Biden Administration got us. None of it is good for our country. ... Joe Biden gets an F, for failure, on every single issue he's touched." —Congressman Dan Crenshaw

  28. The capitol building being that insecure, It’s almost unbelievable. We pay all these taxes and the capitol isn’t as secure as a 711. Bowser and Pelosi are either way to incompetent to hold any position or there is more to this. I think you already know what I believe with my previous Ray Epps comment. I would like the 14000 hours of security footage that they refuse to release along with all available information before I move from believing to knowing. I do not have blind loyalty to any political but Trump had a lot that supported him that did and if he wanted a insurrection that day he would have asked for and gotten one. This was a protest with some rioters which has sadly became common place in American.

  29. This sounds like more distraction while politicians empty your wallet. Help the neighbor, take care of my family, and focus on my community is my plan. It's a shame cause I'm on here to share my passion for the outdoors but I just constantly get all this negative back and forth between people who in general are friends.

  38. just kind of chuckling at reading all of this.. If someone owns a brand of truck you don't care for, but they love it, what is the problem with that? I have a 2017 F250 Diesel and absolutely love it.. I have friends that have similar trucks that are Chevy, GMC or Dodge that they love and that is great for them... It is a beautiful thing that we have choices.. In the past 10 years, I have personally owned Chevy, GMC, Ford and Subaru vehicles, so I am not partial to a specific brand. I usually have a truck and a "daily driver", as I put a lot of miles on commuting to work.

  39. I think I may have mentioned it here once before, years ago myself and some of my hunting compadres went on a Squirrel hunt and it was anything goes, Grays, Reds and Chipmunks. We got ourselves quite the pile of rodents, cleaned them all up and one of the guys took them all home and his wife made up a big stew and did some up in tomato sauce. We were all invited over for a Squirrel feast, the eating was good and other than body size I could not tell the difference in taste between any of them. Chipmunks are on the small side but when you think about it I would say they amount to be about the same size wise as Quail. Ammo is a little tight these days so a good quality pellet rifle would do the trick hunting Chipmunks on the cheap. My little Benjamin P-Rod parlor gun would be just the ticket for them as it will easily shoot dime size groups at 30 yds, should be plenty good on Squirrels at moderate range also.

  42. Life is a journey, not a destination! Enjoy the ride. We may head south for 3 or 4 weeks at the end of March. I have a few stops planned out already, south to the Great Smokey Mountains, Savannah, FLA Panhandle, then west to New Orleans, then Corpus Christi, Dallas, up towards Grand Rapids, then back east to home. Some places we have been, some are new to us. Loose plan, we will stop along the way and be open to hanging the agenda on a moments notice. I do plan to stop in as many ammo places as I can!

  43. I often use the expression, "what's bred in the bone, will out in the flesh" and have no issue saying someone is "well bred". Using it as an adjective is acceptable in that context. As a noun in reference to a person, however, not so much. I will not call someone a "halfbreed" or ask what "breed" they are. That is a slur and I doubt even 4S has the stones or lack of courtesy to do use it to someone's face. "Breed" is not a substitute for "race" which is not only skin colour but also includes a social and cultural aspect. "Breed" as is commonly used today, refers to phenotype of animals and when applied to people is derogatory. In order to determine the intent in this situation you have to look at the overall tone of the totality of 4S's posts. He seems to lack the intellectual acumen to apply any etymological nuance to his posts so we are left with A] he simply doesn't know any better or B] he intended it as an insult when referring to Kamala Harris. I'm a fair guy so I figure it's probably both.

  45. We have zero need for their oil. Be concerned if Putin has been on the phone with China to make a deal that he goes into Ukraine and China goes into Taiwan at the same time. And be more concerned if they both get together on Cyber attacks on us. We are def at a weak point right now between our president, the economy, Covid, our debt etc. We aren't going into WW3 for either of these places.
