Nice sit this morning. 35 degrees & light wind. Had a beautiful tall 8 point broad side at 50 yds. in the cut bean field. Could not coax him in. Hunters all over the place but he stayed between them all. It is the 2nd wall hanger I have seen in two days.

 When I got back home the idiot neighbor is out mowing again :danced:

 Back out this afternoon before the rain & wind hits tonight & tomorrow.

All I saw todsy wad this one scrub buck that kept coming back at least 3 times. Could have shot him multiple times. Forgot to say this before but I have a button down. Shot it about 8:10. Only went 60 yards max. After I went to check my cams and i have a pic of probably the best deer I've ever gotten on my cams. Looks like they come through around 3pm so I'm in the stand again waiting on them.

Just had an incredible experience with a monster buck and another nice shooter. Grunting, fighting and my first experienced snort wheeze.
Too bad they were 60 yards out in some brush... right under the stand we put there for that very reason.

Morning recap from 8a.. walked in at about 6. Bumped something. Too dark to see it but it sounded like a damn horse. At about 7 I see 2 flashlights to my left at property line. Too dark to see which side of the posteds they were on. At 8 watched a doe and two fawns makes there way through the bean field 200 ahead of me. A tall 6pt followed them about 50 yds behind. As they approached the opposite side there was a decent 8pt waiting for them. Then I lost them over a small rise. I look where I see the flashlight earlier and see a kid in a tree. He leaves at 930. I walked over. His stand is on his side of the line by about 5 feet with his back to his property.

Had a deer walk right by my tree before legal time, about 7:10, could make out the deer's outline but couldn't tell if it was a buck or doe. Saw a lone doe or BB at about 8:15 up by the pond. Then about an hour ago had this little doe come in and bed down 15 yds from my tree...she's still laying here now. Had a little 4pt cruise through about half an hour ago and paid no attention to the bedded doe, passing by about 15 yds from her. Just saw another small buck, possibly same small buck walking by the pond about 10 minutes ago...no big boys yet

Packed it in as have some things to do but planning an afternoon sit like yesterday. Had a 4pt come by just before legal light. Had a lone deer come down around 9am and that was it besides Chipmunks. The fox up here are soon fired!!!

Pulled up to lease and medow across from it had 3 bucks and 4 does. So i had to take long way to my stand so i didnt jump them. That fields maybe 150yards from my stand. Made it to stand without bumping any and about 7- 715 they came past my stand could see the one bucks horns but couldnt tell which buck it was.  But evercalm worked because they went down wind of me and never spooked.  Then my all day sit ended because wife decided not to lock dogs up and now they are gone. Best part stood up to get out of stand and being livid pissed i had to leave didnt see deer coming in from about 80yards out.

Came home to dry out wet boots and feet . 

Youngsters take note , today is our 29th wedding anniversary, I told the Mrs I came back because I forgot to,leave the card and gift on the kitchen counter for her   . ( which is true ) 

Pretty sure she didn't buy that's why I came home ,but is going along with it .
