I’m up. Walked past 3 sets of eyes at 20-25 yards. Green lens on headlamp lights em up good and second time I’ve done this and they sat tight.  Good luck and be safe everyone

In the stand near where I lost blood last night, figure I’ll sit here till 9:30 or so. Watch for birds, yotes, the deer. Then see if I can get back on blood. Going to make another go at it but not very hopeful.

No shots yet......unreal for this area of 9H. Every neighbor was sighting in last Sunday afternoon.....they all gotta be out.....but can't believe they are behaving this well. One factor may be it's still dark as heck in the woods......light slowly starting to break in the valley.

I’m normally in 7J for the opener, but the Rona had us making in different plans.

Only ever hunted 8F once on the opener but gotta admit it’s crazy I haven’t heard a shot yet.

Im in my tower in 3K, 40 degrees, zero shots heard so far.  Decided on my old Marlin 30-30 that my dad gave me.  I like the older rifles, makes it feel like rifle season with the rifles that have patina from being used in the woods.
