Just finished breakfast and on second cup of coffee. 41degrees, light NW wind will work perfectly for a spot halfway up the ridge at the lake property. Saw a bunch of deer in there last weekend. And even a couple of decent bucks still running together?

Coffee on as Rain just finishing up. 40 and crisp with. 7 mph N wind predicted. Always seems colder when early season.

Except for geese...Goose season doesn't open until NEXT Saturday, so we'll probably be covered up with them...Hehehe..

Good luck to everyone that's hurting today.  A few pics from this morning's sd card swap.  This is my 3rd year having cans out here and first time getting a raccoon on camera. The 7pt is no slouch but the one I really would like to get is the big 8 in the pic with the coon.

Looks line someone is sleeping in the garage tonight, it wont be cooper . He gets your spot on the bed tonight and he knows it.

Love the sounds of multiple barred owls. Set the decoy up in the dark and already had a doe and fawn come by but they didn’t stick around long. Let’s see what else the morning has to offer!

Saw a decent buck feeding In hay Field about 125 yards out , I was able to slip along woods another 20 yards to my oath .

Turkeys flying down making all kinds of noise now .
