First whitetail, bow from stand, double lung. Saw this doe on my trail cam several times. She walked under me last week, but it wasn’t light enough to see the sight or take a shot. Today was a perfect stroll under the stand

4 weekends left to bow hunt here in the southern zone and this one looks pretty darn good.  40 degree temp drop by afternoon today, BP is rising. Leaves are wet this am, making for a stealthy sneak into the stand. I like the odds of seeing a nice buck this weekend. >>>----------->

Planned on sneaking into this new piece in the dark but going to hold off.  I'll be at that piece at first light watching from my truck.  Talked to my buddy who I'm scouting it with he said no point in blowing it up yet sit back and we can sneak in at 8ish to do a quick scout.   Told him I agreed so we will see what it holds later on.

Sat at 6, has three doe within 20 yards at 630. Sunrise here in PA 727. At 700 I cock his gun and he’s shaking too much, have him rest the gun on the blind softly... nope he makes noise and there gone.
