Even got the wife in for a picture. She saw three doe but were in the thicket where i killed the buck, no shot.

The first one slipped in 15 yards behind me broadside-if I had my bow I would have been standing and more alert!!!

Not many shots in my valley here in southern 8H. I had a unicorn standing in front of me earlier and two yearlings strolled by a half hour ago. Twenty three degree temperature swing from this morning. I think it’s time for a tree stand nap.

Just got tempted by a beautiful red fox but not quite enough for one of my last 14 Hornady sst’s.  Had it been a coyote, I’d have used one.

Sat in the climber up on top from 6am to noon and zip, not a lot of shooting and not very many hunters in the state we hunt. Probably the smart ones! Now up out back till dark. Lot warmer here at 44 but some swirly wind.

Dad saw a buck at 7am,no shot/fogged glasses n me 3 doe at 8am on neighbors property. Dad got cold so by 930 he called it.went home n did some leaf work now back in solo for the pm

OMFG me too!! I’m tired of hearing that horse shit about how they move mid-day during full moon!! I can sit ALL day and it’s just dead a few days before and after a full moon! My cams have never shown mid day movement during a full moon either! Every year I write in my hunting journal not to waste vacation during a full moon!! Full moons suck!!!
