5 doe at 150yrds .had the crosshairs on the spine of one n let back down.if she didnt drop right there it would have been permission to someone's property and getting across the flooded creek.not this guy!nice to see em though,not skiddish at all

I’m hunkered down with a Beagle , would like to get out with the daughter sometime Sat or Sun , but she’s pretty booked up and Sun looks like sh!t weather .

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Never to motivated to hunt during gun season, but went out this morning for short sit in 8h and didn’t see any deer. Waiting for muzzleloader season to start.  Now it’s family time , football time and food time.

Can’t find any deer yet today but I found my bolt from my xbow buck!

Right in line with my shot. 43 yards from blind. So 24yds past the deer (19yd shot)

I spend a couple minutes looking for mine today also, but no luck.  I marked the first blood with a surveyor's ribbon.  That is still there, but no sign of the bolt.  It looks like I will have to offer the kids a reward if they can find it for me in the spring.  I would like to re-sharpen the mechanical broadhead, replace the o-ring, and go for a third buck with it.

Out for warm up . All snow now wind is picking up . Heard a tree come down  up the hill from me. Stand is bouncing pretty good . So bad I have only seen 2 squirrels.

Get a metal detector. I’ve found arrows that way before
