Popular Post E J
Went out a little while ago to see if I could find the buck I shot this morning with my friend. My woods are really thick with multiflora rose and buckthorn and all other kinds of nasty stuff. There was no blood to follow so I just started circling where he entered the woods while my friend stayed close to where the blood ran out as it entered the woods from my field. After about 20 minutes I found him stiff as a board. I hit him in the liver.

Swamp_bucks
Congrats to everyone that got one so far today. We had success in my group again. Brother had a doe come in he and took his first deer with a bow ever. Went 20 yards after the shot. He did see a big buck running a doe at first light. Wont post his face because I didn't ask. Thanks a bunch to Treeguy for helping out after a long drive and skipping a great morning to hunt! Thank you for allowing me to join, and I can't say enough about Moogs patience in waiting almost 24hrs. It's almost impossible to not want to get on a deer like that but it's the right thing to do to ensure a recovery. Never easy advice to get, but it's easy to give. I can't tell you guys how juiced I am that we recovered this deer. For so many reasons. He is an absolute monster. I must have yelled " we got em" about a thousand times on the ride home..... Congrats again, my friend. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

DirtTime
Congrats to those who got it done so far today. Wind wasn't right for the marsh, so I set my wife up looking down a shallow gully that leads around a-fore mentioned marsh. She had a decent doe milling around her for some time, and she managed to get it on video. She sends me a text, "Do you see it?". My reply- "No. See what? I'm 120 yards away facing the other direction.". All I saw was a red fox not long after Sun-up. Good day to me, wife had her first deer encounter without spooking the deer.
